capra

my new piece entitled "capra".  i just spent the weekend in moab, utah delivering this lady and hanging it in sabaku sushi restaurant.  glad to have this one finished and visible to the public.  3 + years sitting in the closet, it took some revitalizing and polishing to get it ready, but happy to have it done.

capra, inspired by the latin name for goats, seems so applicable after my most recent affections for these wily creatures.

Are goat and lambs the same? Stupid question I know. We've been eating so much mutton since coming here. Just thought I'd share that. :)
I love the colors in this. the tree with the red blossoms is beautiful. I love this painting and would love to buy a copy if you have one? It would go perfect in our living room, the colors especially. I hope you and Ren are doing well. We love and miss you.

thanks for commenting, if you give me a few days i can see how it copies on my epson. it wouldnt be any bigger than an 11X14 though?
not sure if you want it that small?
